Knitting's on hold just at the moment, got a bit excited about the toy we treated ourselves too - a Nintendo Wii, so last night I was learning to play it and added my wireless headphones with the Ipod too (have to have wireless so it doesn't get tangled in my knitting) I was having great fun, unfortunately Paul was having less fun in the other room trying to fix the computer which has been getting slower and slower and was refusing to let me open blogger blogs! He thinks he's fixed it, meanwhile I've been getting better at Wii - the boxing game though could be dangerous you end up getting engrossed and getting nearer and nearer the screen, putting my controller through the tv would not be so good!
On the gardening front how unlucky I end up working all weekend of the most sunshine so far this summer! but we've had Cauliflower cheese from the garden this week (the Cauliflower not the cheese!) and the sweet peas are going mad producing big bunches of fabulously scented flowers. This evening we had lots of raspberries - very yummy!
Warren - I'm hoping to download the original Bomberman to relive our student days!!

Hi Sally,
Just catching up with everyone! Your new toy sounds like fun, Gregg would love one!
We're getting plenty of salads from the garden and some tatties, although they've got blight so I've had to chop all the leaves off, but fingers crossed they'll be ok.
Just waiting for the pea pods to fill then i'll be in heaven!

Sal, I don't even have a Wii! Somewhere, a 24-year old version of me (probably playing 'Bloody Nintendo') is shaking his head at how tragic I (and Warren) have become!
